While others might argue that education is not a means in itself, it is nevertheless significant to note that education is the means to an end. In essence, an accumulation of wealth in the absence of the required knowledge to secure, maintain, and increase such a wealth is definitely vulnerable to depletion.
Well said. Education sets the basis for rational and meaningful decision making all-around.
ReplyDeleteI coudn't agree with u more, brother Mohammed. Educational is the essence of life, because with it you can do anything that u have set your mind on. On the other hand, wealth is not something that stay with you, but knowledge is a part of you, once you obtain it.
ReplyDeleteMr. Dukuly,
ReplyDeleteAs a student of economics and a thinker,,i do agree with you that education is a means in itself.
Means in economics discusses resources needed to achieve economic goals at a particular time.
So education serves as a an economic resource in achieving an economic goal such as wealth accumulation ,and the protection of such accumulated wealth from depletion.
